Dominic Irvine and Glenn Longland will attempt to beat the current record which stands at just over 50 hours. The record has stood since 1966.
They will be riding an Orbit Lightning tandem. The forecast for the wind is tail winds, albeit of a gentle nature.

Disappointing news, Glenn Longland was taken ill and the attempt abandoned. But the were over halfway in 22 hours so an awesome achievement to have done so well.
