Absolute great buy, brand new components & refurbished frame
This tandem is an absolute bargain. The frame is probably about 12 to 13 years old, but we have had it refurbished it looks like new.Nearly all the components fitted are brand new and come full a full guarantee.
It has 6 S&S couplers allowing the tandem to be broken down for flying and/or transporting by train or car.
The new cost of a tandem of this quality is around £10,000.
Size wise, the front horizontal top tube is 54cm, which we tend to regard as a medium in road bike terms.
So would suit a front rider from about 5'6" to 5'10" and rear rider from about 5'4" to 5'10" depending on leg length.
We also have an almost identical refurbished Santana which will be built with the same specification but in the next size up, which will suit a taller front rider. This should be on our website shortly. It can also be built to a different specification if you enquire before we have built it.
