Ventana full suspension tandems now available from JD Cycles

The past year has seen several exciting additions and changes to our broad tandem range!

Orbit Tandems
Having acquired Orbit Cycle’s tandem business in summer of 2006, we have spent the last eighteen months test riding and developing the three existing models. The new 2008 range now contains six different models, all finished off with new logos to reflect the vibrancy of the range.

The entry level Orbit is still the Libra at £795: this tandem makes an ideal tandem for a small rear rider, whilst having enough scope to accommodate a fairly tall front rider. The Libra is available now.

The Orbit Routier has seen a face lift, with three models available: the Sport at £1100, the Tour at £1300 and the Pro at £1500. It is still available with 26” or 700c wheel size, but now comes in not only 20”/16” but also a 22”/18”. And, for a change, we have gone with a painted finish, so you now have the choice of gloss black or a lovely bright vibrant blue.

The Orbit Pegasus, like the Routier, is also now available in both gloss black and vibrant blue, and again comes in 20”/16” and 22”/18”. The models are Pegasus Tour and Pegasus Pro at £1500 and £1750 respectively. Both the ‘08 Routier models and the Pegasus models will be available late February/early March.

Santos Tandems
2007 was the first year for us with the Santos tandem range, and their reception has been fantastic! Santos’ brilliant range of tandems remains the same for 2008.

Ventana Tandems
We were pleased to have Ventana’s El Conquistador tandem join our stable late last year as well; designed for the serious off-road tandem enthusiast, the Ventana comes in a frame only, with or without S & S couplings. Come and test ride our demonstration model or see our website for some suggested specifications.

KHS, Dawes and Santana Tandems
We still have some stock of KHS tandems at fantastic prices, as well as 10% off our remaining ‘07 Dawes models.

The Santana range sees a few changes for 2008, with a couple of new colours available; we will soon have three new demonstration models available to illustrate these.
